COMPOSITION AND FUNCTION OF DIFFERENT COUNCILS AND COMMITTEES:
ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL
(1) The council shall consist of the principal (Chairman), Vice-principal, chief instructor / Departmental heads, Representatives from Institute of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB), Bangladesh Polytechnic Teachers Association (BPTA), Bangladesh Polytechnic Shikkhak Parisad (BPSP), BAKASIOKAS, Hostel Superintends Register and Head Assistant.
(ii) The function of the council shall be to initiate and formulate all Policies governing the operation of the institute.
(iii) The council may include, if necessary, representatives from Other areas of activities.
ACADEMIC COUNCIL
The academic council shall consist of the Principal (Chairman), Vice-Principal, Chief Instructor / Departmental Heads, Representatives from IDEB, BPTA, BPSP and the Register member-secretary). Its function shall be to determine the policies concerning,
The following :
(i) Student conduct,
(ii) Student academic standards and requirements,
(iii) Institute ’s examination and promotion,
(iv) Publication of institute ’s examination result.
STUDENT UNION
The student union shill consist of the principal (Chairman) officer-in-charge of student union, Faculty Advisers and students Representative elected by the student body .Its function shall be To initiate and recommend policies governing,
The following:
(i) Student General welfare,
(ii) Student clubs and societies,
(iii) Literary programmers,
(iv) Publication of student journal,
(v) Recreational programmers,
(vi) Games and sports,
(vi) Physical education.
