A library of well selected and up-to-date texts & references books maintained in the Institute. Current trade, industrial and educational journals are also available for use by students, staff and teachers, The library is kept open beyond institute hours to enable the students to study according to their conveniences. Besides, the institute has the following facilities.

| RENTAL LIBRARY | ||||||
| A rental library is functioning since 1963-64 session. Books are loaned to students for a whole semester period on payment of nominal charges. | ||||||

| AUDIO-VISUAL LIBRARY | ||||||
| The Institute has audio-visual library equipped with modern audio visual aids such as multimedia, movie, opaque and film stripes slide projectors, OHP, movie camera, tape recorders, record-players, etc, for supplementing class room instructions. | ||||||

| STUDENTS UNION LIBRARY / COMMON ROOM | ||||||
| Students Union (SU) of the Institute maintains a separate library equipped with books of general interest, such as novels, fictions, essays, religious books etc. Students are allowed to borrow them from the library. In addition there is a SU-common room where facilities for reading newspapers. Magazines and playing indoor games are available. | ||||||
